Petra in An Australian Vampire in London is related to Bella (played by Christina You) who appears in An American Vampire In Oxford.

Robert Brock also wrote Plasma. for Shock! Horror! Probe! which also features vampires.

Like An American Vampire' and Plasma, An Australian Vampire' was featured in the vampire magazine Bite Me.

The film features Georgina Baillie who is now known as the dancer/model/presenter Voluptua.

At the end of the film Petra says "Here's Jonny." This is an out of date reference to Jonny Wilkinson of the England Rugby team - England beat Australia in the Rugby World Cup in 2003.
